This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with the destination being Rifugio Bocchette.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across a parking area just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you'll find a drinking water stop 0.05 kilometers in and a picnic site right at the start of the trail. Further along, at 1.08 kilometers, you'll pass by the entrance to the Bus de Re Fos cave.

Around 5.77 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Cason dei Lebi, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at 8.85 kilometers, you'll find a water source located off the trail. At 8.86 kilometers, there are two alpine huts for accommodation, providing a cozy place to rest for the night.

Near Rifugio Bocchette, at 8.86 kilometers, you'll find another alpine hut and a restaurant, Rifugio Bocchette, where you can refuel with a delicious meal. Additionally, there are information points along the trail to learn more about the area.

This 17.727-kilometer hike has an elevation gain of 1290 meters and is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging trek.
