This extremely difficult 17.122 km circular hiking route on the Strada comunale delle Bocchette offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for seasoned hikers. The trail starts at a parking area, just 0.01 km from the beginning of the route. As you embark on your journey, you will come across a shelter called Cason dei Lebi around 6.18 km into the hike, providing a rest stop for tired hikers.
Around the midway point of the trail, at approximately 8.35 km from the start, you will find a water source for refilling your supplies. Another water source is located 7.49 km into the hike, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey. Additionally, a drinking water spot is available just 0.05 km from the start.
It is essential to bring an ample water supply, as the trail spans nearly 7 hours of hiking and includes an elevation gain of 1208 meters. In case of emergency or fatigue, there are restaurants along the trail such as Rifugio Bellavista da Memi and Ristorante San Liberale for a quick meal break.
