This extremely difficult 17.342-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding terrain with an elevation gain of 780 meters. The trail begins at a parking area, which is conveniently located at the start of the route.
As you start your journey, you will come across several water points along the way. At 0.29 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source that is easily accessible from the trail. Further ahead, at 3.33 kilometers, another water point can be found off the trail. Make sure to fill up your water bottles as these points can be crucial for staying hydrated during the hike.
Midway through the route, at 5.72 kilometers, you will encounter another water source that is directly on the trail. This can be a refreshing stop to rest and replenish your supplies before continuing on the challenging path.
At 6.39 kilometers, there is yet another water point located conveniently on the trail. Take advantage of these opportunities to stay hydrated and energized for the rest of the hike.
Towards the end of the route, at 8.02 kilometers, there is a water source that is slightly off the trail. Use this as a final opportunity to refill your water before completing the last stretch of the hike.
Additionally, at 0.05 kilometers from the start, there is a restaurant called WH Fatschger nearby in case you want to grab a meal or snack after completing the challenging trek.
