The hiking route to Schwarze is an extremely difficult 12.278-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1114 meters. The journey will take approximately 5 hours and 37 minutes to complete.

Starting from the trailhead, hikers will pass by Schartegg parking area, where you can securely leave your vehicle before starting the trek. Tablander Alm, a cozy restaurant, is located about 3.08 kilometers from the start, perfect for a pit stop to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

As you continue on the trail, you'll reach Tablander Joch - Giogo di Tablà, a beautiful saddle point about 5.31 kilometers from the beginning. Take in the breathtaking views and snap some photos to capture the moment.

Midway through the hike, at around 6.14 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Schwarze peak, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Tablander Warter shelter is also nearby, providing a place to rest and take shelter if needed.
