This hiking route in the Kras region offers a mix of natural beauty and historic sites to explore. The 4.34 km circular route includes an elevation gain of 360 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It will take approximately 1 hour and 54 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will first pass by the Sprejemni center Doline Glinščice / Centro visite della Val Rosandra, where they can gather information about the area. Further along the trail, at the beginning, you will come across the Castelliere del Monte Carso, an archaeological site that offers a glimpse into the region's ancient history.

As you continue, midway through the hike, you will reach Mali Kras, a peak with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Don't miss the Decollo Socerb, a site for free flying enthusiasts, located further along the trail.

Throughout the hike, you will find several parking areas to leave your vehicle and start the adventure. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the trail. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is also advisable.
