Welcome to the Kras hiking route, a moderate 4.34-kilometer circular trail that offers stunning views and diverse points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you'll find the Sprejemni center Doline Glinščice, which serves as an information center for the Val Rosandra region. As you continue, you'll come across the archaeological site of Castelliere del Monte Carso, providing a glimpse into the area's historic past.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the peak of Mali Kras, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you'll encounter the Decollo Socerb, a popular site for free-flying enthusiasts.

Throughout the route, you'll find several amenities such as benches, drinking water stations, and restaurants like Agriturismo Zobec and Bar Rosandra for a quick refreshment break.

As you approach the end of the trail, be sure to visit the wayside shrine of Stara torkla and the viewpoint overlooking the valley. The route also passes by various memorials and caves, adding an extra layer of intrigue to your hiking experience.

With an elevation gain of 360 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge suitable for hikers with some experience. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
