This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical points of interest. The trail is super easy, covering a distance of 1.561 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it suitable for all skill levels.

Starting off, you will pass by a parking area at the trailhead before reaching the first drinking water point just 0.01 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, you will come across the Chiesa di San Bernardo viewpoint, offering a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

As you continue, you will reach two peaks, one of which is 0.78 kilometers from the start and offers panoramic views of the surroundings. Along the trail, you will also encounter the historic S. Ambrogio wayside shrine at 0.68 kilometers from the beginning and the Cappella di Nava shrine at 0.32 kilometers.

Hikers are advised to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out. With parking available at the trailhead and midway through the route, this out-and-back hike to S. Ambrogio promises a delightful outdoor experience for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
