Welcome to the Kernen hiking route! This easy 2.3-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 175 meters will take you through the picturesque surroundings of the Kernen area.

Starting at Wanderparkplatz Beiburg/Blaues Loch, you will begin your journey towards the peak of Kernen. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About 1.15 kilometers from the start, you'll find Kernen, a peak offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Just a bit further, at 1.13 kilometers, Kernenturm viewpoint provides an excellent spot to take in the scenery.

If you're feeling hungry or in need of a snack, the Kiosk am Kernenturm, located at 1.14 kilometers from the start, offers fast food options. For a more relaxed break, there are picnic sites at 1.15 kilometers and 1.14 kilometers from the start, perfect for enjoying some outdoor dining.

As you continue on the trail, you'll find benches at various points for a quick rest. Information points are also available, providing insights into the area's history and nature. Remember to check out the information points at 1.13 kilometers, 1.15 kilometers, and 0.83 kilometers from the start.
