Welcome to the hiking route to Sandlochwächter in the beautiful wilderness area with stunning views. This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 4.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 212 meters, taking around 1 hour and 37 minutes to complete.

The hike starts at Wanderparkplatz Nasser Grund where you can park your vehicle before setting off on your adventure. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as Wilde Hölle, Däumling, Domwächter, Höllenturm, Sandlochwächter, and more.

At the beginning of the trail, you'll come across Übersichtskarte, an information point providing insights into the area. As you progress, you'll reach Günthers Börnel, a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.

Midway through the hike, you'll find Nasser Grund - Abzweig Eulentilke and Nasser Grund / Abzweig Jordanweg, offering informational signage about the surroundings. Further ahead, you'll pass by the Sandloch cave entrance and various climbing peaks like Ameisenturm, Zitadelle, and Höllenwand.

The endpoint of the trail is the Sandlochwächter peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape. Remember to carry an adequate amount of water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
