This moderate 5.29-kilometer hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Affenwand. The trail starts at Wanderparkplatz Nasser Grund, where you can park your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you hike along the trail, you will come across various points of interest.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Domwächter peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, you will find the Dompfeiler peak, adding to the charm of the hike. Be sure to explore the Sandloch cave entrance and the Kleines Prebischtor attraction along the way.
While hiking, remember to stay hydrated and carry enough water for the journey. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and pleasant hike. Additionally, be prepared for some elevation gain of 239 meters throughout the route.
