Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Cenno!
This challenging 6.774-kilometer trail offers breathtaking views and a total elevation gain of 562 meters. It will take approximately 2 hours and 58 minutes to complete.
The hike begins near Seccheto beach, where you can enjoy the coastal scenery before embarking on your journey. Along the way, you will pass by Bar Nonna Orsa and Vecchio Forno, where you can grab a snack or meal to fuel your adventure. Be sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water for this demanding hike.
As you continue, you will come across Caprile, ancient ruins that provide a glimpse into the area's history. Further along the trail, you will reach Monte Cenno, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
On your way back, you can explore the Area archeologica piana alla sughera, an archaeological site showcasing tombs from the past. Additionally, informative plaques are scattered throughout the trail, providing insights into the region's cultural and historical significance.
