This extremely difficult 16.512-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Garmil. With an elevation gain of 1445 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas before reaching a shelter about 3.82 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on. As you trek further, you will come across the peak known as Garmil at the 8.02-kilometer mark. Take in the breathtaking views from this vantage point before heading towards the Fürggli saddle at the 6.95-kilometer mark.
