This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Cap de la Gallina Pelada. The 7.293-kilometer trail offers a challenging trek with an elevation gain of 623 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous hike that will take around 3 hours and 14 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the very beginning of the trail, you will encounter the picturesque picnic site known as Font Freda, perfect for a quick rest and snack only 0.1 kilometers from the start. Further along, at the 2.17-kilometer mark, you will find an information point providing valuable details about the area.
Continuing on, at 2.58 kilometers, you will reach a refreshing spring and a second information point, offering insight into the local surroundings. As you approach the 2.67-kilometer mark, you will come across the Refugi Serra d'Ensija alpine hut, a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Further along the trail, at 3.65 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Cap de la Gallina Pelada peak. Climb to the summit and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
