Welcome to the Gauxweg hiking route!

Located in a beautiful area, this 8.066 km long trail offers a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 395 meters. As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, perfect for leaving your vehicle before starting the hike. Midway through the trail, you will find the Jägerwurzhütte restaurant, a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal with a beautiful view.

As you continue on, you will pass by two water points, providing a refreshing stop along the way at around the 4 km mark. Additionally, there are information points located at 2.08 km and 2.09 km from the start, offering interesting facts about the area and the trail.
