This extremely difficult 12.729-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you to the stunning destination of Vrh Planje.

Starting off, you will come across the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, approximately 2.37 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source - Vodno zajetje, perfect for refilling your bottles.

Continuing on, at the 5.46-kilometer mark, you will reach a shelter called Bivak where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Not far from the shelter, at 5.67 kilometers, is the saddle named Globoko, offering beautiful panoramic views.

Further along the trail, at 5.71 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Vrh Planje, the highlight of the hike. Take in the breathtaking views from the top before heading back.

Hiking tip: Due to the length and elevation gain of this route, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear. Also, check the weather forecast before setting out.
