The hiking route to Brda offers a challenging trek through beautiful natural landscapes. The trail spans a distance of 6.073 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1006 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, hikers will begin their journey towards the peak of Brda. Along the way, you will come across a drinking water station to refill your bottles before tackling the steep incline towards the peak. At 3.04 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Brda, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Continuing on, the trail leads to Lipanska vrata, a saddle point located 2.37 kilometers from the start. This marks a good spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings before making your way back.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the viewpoints at Kredarica and Vrh nad Rdečim, offering breathtaking vistas of the landscape. Before reaching the end of the trail, you will pass by the parking area once again, approximately 0.07 kilometers from the finish.
