Located in a picturesque area, the Wurzelsteig hiking route offers a moderate challenge with a distance of 3.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 398 meters. It will take you approximately 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete this out-and-back trail.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the Silberkarklamm parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Just a short distance from the start, you will encounter the Silberkarhütte alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
Further along the trail, you will pass by the Rosina - Klettersteig via ferrata, offering a thrilling climbing experience for the adventurous hiker. As you continue, you will also find the Klettersteig Hias and Rosina - Klettersteig via ferratas, adding excitement to your trek.
At the midpoint of the hike, you can rest at the viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stay hydrated and carry enough water with you, as the trail can be challenging at times.
