This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Scoat Fell. The trail starts at Wasdale Head Campsite, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to stop by the Wasdale Head Inn for a quick bite before you begin your hike.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by Black Crag, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape. About midway through the hike, you will reach Wind Gap, a saddle that provides a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.

Continuing on, you will reach Scoat Fell, the final destination of the route. This peak offers awe-inspiring views and is a great place to stop for a picnic before heading back.

Along the trail, you will also come across Ritson Force, a beautiful waterfall that adds to the picturesque surroundings. Be sure to refill your water bottle at one of the drinking water stations located along the route.
