This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Walchalm on the Sepp-Poesie-Waldweg trail. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.902 kilometers and an elevation gain of 382 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will pass by the Biberalm restaurant, which is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before hitting the trail. Continuing on, at around 3.45 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water feature where you can take a break and refill your water bottle.

Further along the trail, at 1.51 kilometers, you will reach Hohe Scharte, a beautiful saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to take some photos and admire the scenery.

Throughout the hike, there are several information points and benches where you can learn more about the area and take a rest if needed. Make sure to check the weather forecast before starting the hike and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.

The trail ends at the Walchalm, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before turning back and retracing your steps to the starting point. This route offers a perfect blend of nature, scenery, and a bit of challenge for hikers of all skill levels.
