Socresta Hiking Route Description:

Welcome to the Socresta hiking route, located in a beautiful natural area with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This out-and-back trail is 8.2 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 792 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Further along, there is the Ufficio Turistico APT Fassa information center, providing you with valuable insights about the area.

About 4 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a drinking water station, offering a chance to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. As you continue on, you will encounter a bench to rest and enjoy the scenic views.

Around the 2.13 kilometers mark, you will reach Soscorza, another information point where you can learn more about the surroundings. Additionally, there is a fountain nearby to quench your thirst and take a moment to relax.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Do Ciuril at 3.77 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the area. Make sure to capture the breathtaking scenery before continuing on your journey.

Before heading back, you will pass by a restaurant where you can refuel with a meal or snack. Finally, at 3.2 kilometers, you will encounter the Capitello wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to your hiking experience.
