Welcome to the Dreiwässerweg hiking route, a challenging and extremely difficult 15.86-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 910 meters.

The trail starts at the parking area located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across the Hirschwäng-Alm wilderness hut about 4.34 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Further along the trail at around 5.8 kilometers, you will reach the Kuhkarjoch saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscapes.

Make sure to stay hydrated as you trek through the route, especially when passing by the Altenberg peak at 7.0 kilometers and the Kreuzkopf peak at 6.09 kilometers. These vantage points provide stunning views of the area and are perfect spots to capture some photos.

Along the way, you will also encounter various points of interest such as the boundary stones at different locations, a waterfall at 0.43 kilometers, and a bench at 0.43 kilometers where you can rest and recharge. Additionally, there is a parking area at the start and another one at 0.0 kilometers for your convenience.

As you near the end of the trail, around 0.66 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint called Aussicht, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. Finally, after completing the challenging hike, you will make your way back to the parking area, having experienced the beauty and wilderness of the Dreiwässerweg trail.
