This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Muttekopf peak, offering stunning views along the way. The trail has a total distance of 4.292 kilometers and an elevation gain of 496 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area for your convenience, just a short distance from the beginning of the hike. As you continue on, you will pass by the Edelweißhaus, a restaurant and alpine hut, perfect for a refreshment stop around 0.08 kilometers into the hike.

Around 0.5 kilometers into the trail, you will find a water source, great for refilling your bottles. There is also another parking area with a fee around 0.05 kilometers in if you prefer to drive closer to the starting point.

Further along the trail at 0.09 kilometers, you will encounter a historic wayside cross, adding a cultural touch to your hike. As you make your way towards the Muttekopf peak, you will reach an information point at around 0.08 kilometers, providing insights into the area's history and wildlife.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Muttekopf peak at 2.15 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
