This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Seerundweg. With a total distance of 10.637 kilometers and an elevation gain of 877 meters, the hike is sure to provide both a physical and visual feast for outdoor enthusiasts.
Starting at Seichenbrunn parking area, at the beginning of the trail, hikers will have the opportunity to fill up their water bottles before setting off. The route then winds its way through the picturesque scenery, passing by various points of interest such as Kreuzsee and the crystal-clear waters of Wangenitzsee with water sources nearby.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.2 kilometers from the start, hikers will reach the Untere Seescharte saddle, offering a stunning vantage point to rest and take in the surrounding beauty. Further along the trail, at around 5.08 kilometers from the start, the Wangenitzseehütte alpine hut provides a perfect spot for a break and a bite to eat.
