Welcome to the Seerundweg hiking route! This challenging 8.983-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at Seichenbrunn parking lot, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Untere Seescharte saddle, located 4.2 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water feature, providing a refreshing sight and a perfect photo opportunity. Continuing onwards, you will pass an information point at 3.07 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the region's flora and fauna.
As you approach the turnaround point, at around 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Kreuzsee water feature and a via ferrata route. These points add an extra element of adventure to your hike, allowing you to challenge yourself further.
With a total elevation gain of 877 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before setting off.
