This challenging 10.473-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you to the stunning Cima Valcaelli peak in the picturesque area. The trail starts from a parking area where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by Punto Acqua, a drinking water point perfect for refilling your water bottle at the beginning of the hike.

Further along the trail, at around 3.39 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the majestic peak of Cima Cereto Chetoi before reaching the wilderness hut known as Baita Gatole at 4.68 kilometers. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

As you continue your ascent, you'll come across Cuca Chetoi saddle and several waypoints, such as wayside shrines and viewpoints, offering you a chance to rest and admire the breathtaking views. Make sure to stop by Trattoria La Lanterna, a restaurant at 5.14 kilometers from the start, for a delicious meal before heading back.

Throughout your hike, make sure to stay hydrated by taking advantage of the drinking water points along the trail. Additionally, it's recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out and to pack plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. With an elevation gain of 1003 meters, this difficult hike will challenge you both physically and mentally, but the rewarding panoramic views from Cima Valcaelli at 5.14 kilometers will make it all worth it.
