The hiking route to Pic du Roussillon is an extremely difficult 13.661-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 694 meters. The trail will take you roughly 4 hours and 53 minutes to complete.

The hike starts at a parking area at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will come across Camping de Molitg, a campsite located near the trail. Further along the trail, approximately 6.83 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning peak, Pic du Roussillon. Be sure to take in the breathtaking views from this vantage point.

Along the way, you will also pass by a picnic site and several drinking water stations, where you can replenish your supplies. There is a shelter about 5.69 kilometers into the hike, providing a resting spot for weary hikers.
