This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Vinterveien. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.625 kilometers and an elevation gain of 0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located near the trailhead. About 0.37 kilometers into the hike, you will find a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Along the way, there are several information points (0.34km, 0.4km, 0.42km, and 0.48km) providing interesting insights about the area.

Halfway through the trail (0.67km), you will encounter a bench where you can rest and take in the scenery. Further along the path, at 0.91 kilometers, is the Østjordet information point. As you approach the end of the hike, at 1.31 kilometers, you will reach a peak with breathtaking views.

Should you need a refreshment after your hike, there is a cafe named Ødemørkstua located 0.35 kilometers from the trail.
