This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Waitzdorfer Höhe. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.017 kilometers and an elevation gain of 69.0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 110 meters from the trail, you will find the Feuerlöschteich, a water feature perfect for a quick stop to take in the scenery.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Pension & Gaststätte Waitzdorfer Schänke, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. As you continue onwards, you will reach Waitzdorfer Höhe, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the trail, you will also find several information points, benches, and viewpoints where you can rest and learn more about the area. Make sure to check the opening hours of the restaurant before planning your visit and bring enough water and snacks for the hike.
