This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Refuge de Meije Coste. The total distance of the hike is approximately 4.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 239 meters, making it relatively easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Font d'Alagnon parking area, located just 6.5 meters from the trail start. Further along the trail, at about 0.35 kilometers from the start, you will find some information points and a drinking water source, providing essential resources for your hike.

About midway through the hike, at 2.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Refuge de Meije Coste, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings. This hut also offers accommodation for hikers who wish to extend their stay in the area.

On your way back, you can stop by various restaurants and bars such as Boul' de neige, La chazotte, Chez Lucy, and Le Mass', which are located at different points along the trail, offering a variety of dining options to refuel after your hike.
