Welcome to the hiking route to Nalterin! This moderate 6.547 km out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 197 meters offers a scenic journey through the beautiful natural landscape.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by Col de Fouchy, a saddle located just 16 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding views and get a taste of what's to come on the hike.

As you continue along the trail, you will reach Col de Noirceux, another saddle situated 2.1 km from the start. This is a good place to catch your breath and maybe have a snack before continuing on.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Nalterin, located 3.27 km from the beginning of the trail. From here, you will have breathtaking panoramic views of the area that are worth the climb.

On the way back, make sure to stop at the viewpoint 0.84 km from the start. This is a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery before completing the hike.

This route offers a moderate challenge due to its length and elevation gain, so be sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
