The Black Forest Line hiking route is a super easy trail that spans approximately 1.447 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is an out-and-back type, perfect for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by a Kiosk just 0.14 kilometers from the start, where you can grab some snacks and refreshments before continuing on the journey. About 0.3 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Mariengrotte wayside shrine and several benches for a quick rest.

As you reach the 0.65-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Todtnauer Wasserfall viewpoint and information point, providing a perfect spot to learn about the surroundings and take in the scenic views. Further along the trail, at the same distance point, you can explore the Todtnauer Wasserfall, a stunning waterfall that adds to the natural beauty of the area.
