Welcome to the hiking route to Cap de Raspe!
Located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Réserve domaniale du Mont Vallier, this challenging route covers a distance of 9.533 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1083 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey towards Cap de Raspe. Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a wilderness hut called Cabane de Villenave, where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further ahead, you'll pass by Cabane de l'Artigue, another wilderness hut offering a cozy retreat for hikers.
As you continue hiking, you'll reach Cabane du Trapech d'en haut, a hut located at 3.48 kilometers from the start point, providing a picturesque spot for a rest before continuing your ascent. The trail also leads you to Cabane Col de Part, a shelter located at 4.09 kilometers from the start, offering a place to recharge and take in the stunning views.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter a water source at 2.5 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing opportunity to refill your water supply. Additionally, you'll pass by a spring called Source sous Raspe at 4.65 kilometers from the start, perfect for rehydrating and resting.
