The Mergelpad hiking route is a super easy trail spanning approximately 1.457 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The trail is located in a picturesque area, offering a peaceful and serene environment for outdoor enthusiasts.

As you continue on the trail, you will also pass by the Kalkoven bij Curfsgroeve ruins and the Kalkoven bij ingang Curfsgroeve ruins, both offering a glimpse into the area's historic past. Additionally, at 0.73 kilometers into the hike, there is a viewpoint where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
