This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural and historical landmarks. The trail is considered super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you continue along the path, you will come across the Santuario Madonna della Grotta, a historic monastery located approximately 0.48 kilometers from the start.
Further along the route, you will encounter the Grotta del Catino and Grotta della Cappellina, both natural cave entrances that add an element of exploration to your hike. These caves are situated near Madonna della Grotta, also around 0.48 kilometers from the starting point.
As you make your way towards the Cascata bassa, a scenic waterfall, you will pass by the Grotta del Castoro, another intriguing cave entrance that is easily accessible from the trail. Close to the waterfall, you will find an information point and a beautiful artwork named Li Vurgacci.
Throughout the hike, you will also have the opportunity to visit historical memorials and viewpoints that offer breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape.
