Welcome to the Faldumalp hiking route, a challenging and rewarding trail that covers a distance of 10.327 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1340 meters. This route is classified as extremely difficult due to its length and elevation, so be prepared for a strenuous hike.
Starting at the Goppenstein information point, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities for easy access. As you continue, you will encounter Lonza, a natural water source located just 0.03 kilometers from the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the peak at a distance of 5.16 kilometers from the start. The peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.
Around the 3.13-kilometer mark, you will find a wheelchair-accessible drinking water point, providing you with a much-needed refreshment break. Additionally, there is a restaurant named Felsheim near the trail, offering a convenient dining option for hungry hikers.
As you near the end of the trail, at a distance of 3.1 kilometers from the start, another drinking water point will be available to refill your water bottles.
