This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to Einigs Alichji (Niwen) in a beautiful natural area. The trail is 13.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1487 meters, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.
As you start your hike, you'll pass by the Lonza river just 0.03 kilometers from the trail. Make sure to fill up your water bottle here before continuing on. About 3.13 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your bottle again.
Halfway through the journey, at 6.76 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Einigs Alichji (Niwen). Take a break here to admire the breathtaking views before heading back.
For those looking to take a longer break or grab a bite to eat, Felsheim restaurant is located at the beginning of the trail. They are open on Wednesdays to Saturdays from 08:30 to 20:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 20:00.
Throughout the hike, make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water and snacks for the journey. It's also a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out, as the conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
