This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Castagni on a moderate difficulty trail. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of approximately 3.967 kilometers with an elevation gain of 251 meters, and is expected to take around 1 hour and 32 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find "Piazza Roma" parking area which is about 0.16 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will pass by "Necropoli ruperstre di Barbarano", an ancient ruins site located 0.94 kilometers into the hike.

About midway through the trail, you will encounter "Bar Centrale" for some sustenance, as well as a drinking water station at 0.16 kilometers from the start. On the way back, be sure to check out "Casa Rupestre" ruins site which is 1.11 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
