This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Kananaskis Peak in Alberta. The trail spans a total distance of 10.328 kilometers with an elevation gain of 925 meters, making it a difficult trek that requires some hiking experience.
Starting off at the trailhead, you'll find a convenient parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. The trail meanders through the picturesque landscape, offering glimpses of Kovach Pond around the 0.6 kilometer mark. Although slightly off the main trail, the pond is a tranquil spot worth exploring.
As you continue onwards, prepare yourself for a strenuous ascent towards Kananaskis Peak. The peak stands majestically at 5.16 kilometers into the hike, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
