Welcome to the hiking route to Creux du Van, a natural amphitheater located in Switzerland. This route is super easy, perfect for all skill levels, with a distance of 1.222 kilometers and no elevation gain.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the parking area. Make sure to park your vehicle here before starting the journey. Further along the trail, you will come across a boundary stone named VD072, a piece of historic significance marking the area.
Around the midway point, you will find information points where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. Be sure to take some time to read up on the history and geology of Creux du Van.
As you approach the endpoint of the hike, you will reach the viewpoint overlooking the impressive Creux du Van amphitheater. Take a moment to admire the breathtaking natural beauty of the site before making your way back.
At the end of the trail, you will find the restaurant Le Soliat, where you can relax and refuel after your hike. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
