Welcome to the hiking route on the Waldweg trail! This moderate 2.364-kilometer out-and-back route offers a total elevation gain of 272 meters, making it a perfect choice for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.
Starting at the parking area in Randa, you'll embark on a scenic journey through lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across several points of interest that are worth checking out.
About 0.04 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Treff 494 restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. Further along, at 0.23 kilometers, there is a drinking water station for you to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
As you continue on, you'll pass by various information points and benches, perfect for taking a rest and soaking in the surroundings. At 0.78 kilometers, there is an information point and a bench, followed by another bench at 0.96 kilometers.
Near the turnaround point at 1.18 kilometers, you'll come across a wayside shrine, a viewpoint with stunning views, and another bench to relax on. Additionally, there is an information point with the name "Kreuz" for you to explore.
Before heading back, don't forget to visit the drinking water station at 1.18 kilometers to quench your thirst. As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take in the natural beauty of the area.
