Welcome to the Loma del Paso - Alpujarra de la Sierra hiking route!

Located in a beautiful area, this circular route offers a challenging yet rewarding hiking experience. With a total distance of approximately 10 kilometers and an elevation gain of 425 meters, this hike is considered difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, making it convenient for you to leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 0.23 kilometers into the hike, there is a pub where you can grab some sustenance and refreshments before continuing on your adventure.

Around the 4.5-kilometer mark, you will encounter a natural water source, providing a perfect opportunity to rest and replenish your supplies. There are also additional water sources along the way, so make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike.

At approximately 1.75 kilometers from the start, you will find an archaeological site known as "Puente romano" (Roman Bridge). Take some time to explore this historic site and appreciate the ancient architecture.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be prepared for the challenging terrain and the final stretch of the hike. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
