Welcome to the Black Crag hiking route! This moderate 4.52-kilometer hike with 371 meters of elevation gain will take you on an out-and-back journey through stunning natural landscapes.
At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area to leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several water sources, perfect for refreshing yourself along the way. These water spots are located at varying distances from the trail, with the closest one being 41.5 meters away at 2.26 kilometers into the hike.
Around the midway point of the trail, you will come across several more water spots, providing ample opportunities to fill up your water bottle and rest before continuing on your journey. Additionally, there are a couple of springs located a bit further off the trail at 0.72 kilometers in, offering a serene setting to enjoy the surrounding nature.
As you approach the end of the trail, you will stumble upon the Hawell Monument, a historic memorial located 120.6 meters away from the trail at 0.38 kilometers in. Take a moment to appreciate the significance of this landmark before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
