This challenging hiking route will take you through the breathtaking landscapes of the destination area, starting at Fleckweide parking. The trail stretches for 9.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 207 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.
As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.3 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source to replenish your supplies. Further along, at 4.7 kilometers, you will reach the picturesque Palfneralm, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal at the alpine hut. Nearby, the Gollehenalm offers another delightful dining option just 2.57 kilometers from the beginning.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter benches for resting at various points. These benches are strategically placed at 0.56, 0.9, 1.31, 1.53, 2.15, and 2.45 kilometers from the start, providing hikers with opportunities to relax and take in the surroundings.
Additionally, informational points of interest such as Almen and wayside crosses are dotted along the trail, offering insights into the local history and culture. Make sure to visit these spots at 4.62 and 4.69 kilometers from the starting point.
