Starting at Fleckweide parking area, you will begin your adventure surrounded by lush greenery and fresh mountain air. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 2.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the picturesque views.

Continuing on, after about 3.31 kilometers, you will come across a refreshing water source to refill your bottle. The trail then leads you to the impressive Schernthaner memorial, located 1.53 kilometers from the start. As you trek further, you will encounter more benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and admire the natural beauty of the area.

At the 4.7-kilometer mark, you will reach the Palfneralm, a charming alpine hut where you can refuel with some delicious local cuisine. Nearby, there is also the Gollehenalm restaurant, perfect for a pit stop during your hike. As you make your way back, don't miss the opportunity to visit the drinking water station and biergarten along the trail.

For those who enjoy history and cultural landmarks, you can find wayside crosses and information points scattered throughout the route. Additionally, there is a waterfall located 1.19 kilometers from the start, making for a scenic detour.
