Located in the beautiful Pieniny mountains, this hiking route offers a moderate level of difficulty with a distance of 3.726 kilometers and an elevation gain of 282 meters. It is an out-and-back trail that will lead you to the stunning viewpoint of Szafranówka / Šafranovka.

Starting the hike, you will come across Pieniny restaurant, a great spot to grab a meal before or after your adventure. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.85 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area.

As you continue your journey, you will pass by a parking area and a shelter at 0.72 kilometers from the start. It is recommended to carry enough water for the hike and check the weather forecast before heading out. Along the way, you will also encounter the Rovňa information point and a historic wayside cross.

At the midway point of 1.86 kilometers from the start, be sure to stop at the viewpoint overlooking the breathtaking landscape. Additionally, you will reach the peak of Szafranówka / Šafranovka, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Before turning back, you can visit the Pod Šafranovkou and Na Gory information points. As you make your way back, you may want to explore Chata Pieniny for a final glimpse of the area. Don't forget to bring a camera to capture the scenic beauty of the Pieniny mountains.
