This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Tête des Roèses area. With a total distance of 43.355 kilometers and an elevation gain of 3520.0 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. It is recommended to be well-prepared with proper gear, plenty of water, and snacks to keep your energy levels up throughout the day.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 7.82 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the picturesque Lago Du Plan D'En Haut, situated off the main trail. Further along at 9.17 kilometers, you will find the beautiful Lago del Dragone, conveniently located directly on the trail.
For those seeking shelter, the Bivacco Duccio Manenti is located at 8.53 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy spot to rest. Additionally, the Rifugio Perucca-Vuillermoz can be found at 9.25 kilometers, providing accommodation options for overnight stays.
As you continue your journey, you will encounter various water points such as Lago Di Balanselmo, Lago Alto, and Lago Blu, offering stunning views and a chance to refill your water supply.
