This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Place Abbé Gillard. The trail is 8.141 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 69 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities at Place Abbé Gillard and the Office du Tourisme where you can gather information about the area. As you continue on, you will come across a picturesque water source located just under 4 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and refill your water bottle.
Further along the trail, about 1.73 kilometers in, you will encounter historic wayside crosses that add a sense of charm to the hike. A little over 3.97 kilometers from the start, you will find the Fontaine Saint-Armel, a beautiful fountain that is worth a visit.
As you approach the 0.11 kilometer mark, you will pass by the Brocéliande Café, where you can stop for a break and enjoy some refreshments. There is also an attraction called La Cachette de Merlin nearby, around the same distance from the start, which adds a touch of magic to the hike.
Throughout the hike, there are picnic sites available for those who wish to enjoy a meal in nature. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
