The Surses area offers a challenging hiking route that will take you on an 8.286-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 647 meters. The route is classified as difficult due to its length and elevation changes, so be prepared for a strenuous hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the "Parkplatz Vanastg" information point, which provides valuable insights about the area. Close by, there is a parking area for your convenience.

As you make your way along the trail, approximately 1 kilometer from the start, you will reach the "Hotel Piz Platta" where you can take a break and enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Further along, at a distance of 3.64 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source nearby, followed by additional water points at 3.74 and 4.14 kilometers respectively.

Around the midway point of the hike, at Tiglas, you can find another information point to learn more about the surroundings. Keep in mind to bring enough water with you as the next drinking water source is located 0.93 kilometers away from the trail.
