As you begin your hike, you'll find convenient parking options such as Children's Lot 6 and various picnic sites along the trail. About 0.15 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Kiowa Lot, which serves as parking for the CU Dental Clinic.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.2 kilometers from the start, you'll find Ignacio Visitor & Patient Parking and Barbara Davis Visitor & Patient Parking. These facilities offer additional convenience for visitors.

Art enthusiasts will enjoy spotting works like Corpus Callosum at various points along the trail, including the East End/Ball and West End/Ball installations. The trail also features natural elements such as water at a point 0.23 kilometers from the start.
