Located in a picturesque area, the hiking route to Schwalbensee is a super easy 1.01-kilometer out-and-back trail with no elevation gain.
Starting off at Hohenbusch parking area, you will find yourself surrounded by the beauty of nature. As you begin your journey, after a short walk, you'll come across Krümmelteich, a charming water feature just 0.03 kilometers away from the start. Further along the trail, at around 0.24 kilometers from the beginning, you'll reach Jochimsteich, another lovely water spot.
Continuing on, at approximately 0.3 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the second Jochimsteich, offering a peaceful ambiance for a quick break. As you approach the midway point of the hike at 0.51 kilometers, you'll be mesmerized by the enchanting Schwalbensee, a beautiful lake that provides a serene setting for relaxation.
With a viewpoint at 0.28 kilometers into the hike, you can take in the scenic views of the surroundings. Additionally, an information point at 0.04 kilometers from the start provides interesting insights about the area.
