This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Fallaschjoch - Passo di Vallazza. With a total distance of 13.665 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1028 meters, this hike is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Starting off at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring enough water for the journey as the first drinking water station is located 0.37 kilometers into the hike. As you continue on, at around 0.35 kilometers in, there is a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Around 3.36 kilometers into the hike, you will find the historic battlefield site called Bunker, located just off the trail. Further along at 3.36 kilometers, there is another historic battlefield site called Kleiner Boden. These points of interest provide a unique insight into the area's past.
For sustenance and accommodation, you will reach Furkelhütte - Rifugio Forcola at 3.8 kilometers into the hike. This alpine hut and restaurant offer a great place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Additionally, at 2.54 kilometers into the hike, there is a water source to replenish your supplies.
One of the highlights of the hike is the viewpoint at Fallaschjoch - Passo di Vallazza, situated 6.83 kilometers into the route. This is a perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across other points of interest such as the park at the midway point and the attraction called Wildgehege Fragges at 0.46 kilometers into the hike.
