This challenging out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Schafseitenspitze peak. The trail spans a distance of 11.42 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1070 meters, taking approximately 5 hours and 19 minutes to complete.

Beginning your journey, you will come across a convenient parking space right at the start of the trail. As you progress, you will encounter a refreshing water source about halfway through the hike, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

At around the 5.71-kilometer mark, you'll reach the majestic Schafseitenspitze peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Nearby, you'll find the Pliderling peak, adding to the scenic grandeur of the area.

Along the trail, you'll also come across several historic points of interest, such as wayside crosses and benches for resting. Keep an eye out for the Olpererblick restaurant, situated at a distance of 0.45 kilometers from the trail, where you can grab a bite to eat.
